18th Qualifying Examination for Indians holding a Foreign Law Degree will be held from December 5 to 10, 2022. Check details here.
The Bar Council of India (BCI) will conduct the 18th qualifying examination for Indian nationals who have a degree in law obtained from foreign universities. The exam will be held from December 5 to 10, 2022, and will carry 5 papers on different dates. Candidates who have a foreign law degree and wish to practice law in India, have to appear for this qualifying examination mandatorily.
The exam authority informed, "The 18th Bar Council of India Qualifying Examination for Indian Nationals Holding Foreign Law Degrees will be held from 5th December, 2022, to 10th December, 2022 in the premises of the Bar Council of India at 21, Rouse Avenue, Institutional Area, New Delhi – 110002 as per the schedule given below:-

Candidates will be able to apply on the official website of Bar Council of India - www.barcouncilofindia.org as and when the application form is available. Complete details regarding application process, eligibility criteria, exam centres, and pattern are yet to be published.
The notification for All India Bar Examination (AIBE) 17th examination is yet to be out for the Indian Law degree holders. BCI has not yet announced any confirmed date for AIBE XVII 2022, however, it is expected to be held in December now.
