CLAT 2020 application and withdrawal window closes tomorrow, Apply now!

CLAT 2020 application window along with withdrawal option is available until tomorrow. Read here to know more. 

CLAT Consortium will close the application window of CLAT 2020 on July 10. Moreover, the withdrawal option for CLAT 2020 will also close tomorrow. Candidates who have not applied for CLAT 2020 yet should first register and then fill the application form along with the application fee. Those who have already filled the application form, can now edit their details and complete the fee payment (if not) as well as, update email address before the application window closes. Moreover, candidates can also update their test centre preferences through the application window.

CLAT Consortium has confirmed the exam date of CLAT 2020 to be August 22. The exam will be held in a Social-Distanced Computer-Based Test (SDCBT) due to COVID-19 pandemic. The exam authority has also increased from 67 test cities to 203 cities due to COVID-19 risk. 

To conduct the exam successfully in a social-distanced mode, the following precautions will be taken by the exam centre officials 

  • Staff will be deployed for Crowd Management and orderly movement.
  • Staff with Thermo Guns will be present at the entry gates
  • Sufficient cleaning staff, centre administrators and invigilators with face masks and hand gloves will be deployed.
  • Spray machines with disinfectant liquid will be used to sanitize examination centres thoroughly.
  • Sufficient hand sanitizer and hand soap will be present across the test centres and washrooms.
  • Candidates with fever or COVID symptoms will not be permitted inside the exam venue. A separate isolation lab will be set up to accommodate these candidates.
  • PPE kits will be made available for staff in isolation labs.
  • 3 ply masks and gloves will be provided to isolated candidates

Moreover, candidates appearing for the examination would be asked to wear masks as prescribed by the health ministry.
