CLAT 2022 Online counselling registration begins, Fill your options before June 27

CLAT 2022 Counselling begins from June 25 with online option filling and fee payment. The first merit list to be out on June 30. Check details here.

The Consortium of National Law Universities have started the online counselling registrations for the candidates who have qualified CLAT 2022 from June 25 onwards. The last date of counselling registration is June 27 till midnight. Candidates can pay the requisite amount to secure the seat allotted to them during the counseling process for CLAT 2022. The Consortium sent counselling invitations to at least five-times the number of seats available at the participating NLUs. Candidates can check below the counseling registration process, and schedule to be followed for admission/ seat allotment. 

CLAT 2022 Counselling will be held in five-rounds to fill all the seats of undergraduate and postgraduate courses available at the participating law colleges i.e. 22 NLUs. 

How to register for CLAT 2022 Counselling?

Candidates can register for CLAT 2022 Counselling as per the steps below:

  1. Go the official website -https://consortiumofnlus.ac.in/  
  2. Click on admission counselling link given on the homepage, and here you can upload the documents as required for CLAT participating institutes 
  3. Next, you need to pay the admission fees - INR 30,000, if belonging to General Category, and INR 20,000 if belonging to SC/ ST/ BC/ EWS/ PWD category 
  4. Thereafter, you need to mark your preferences once again from the list of NLUs. 
  5. Submit all the details, and the seat allotment announcement will be shared once the merit list is published on June 30

30-Jun-2022 to 02-Jul-2022

Publication of Second Merit List (Newly allotted candidates will either - 

1) Accept/Lock the seat and upload documents and pay fee to the NLUs;

OR 2) Apply for Revise and submit documents and pay fee to the NLUs; 

OR 3) Exit admission process)

07-Jul-2022 to 09-Jul-2022

Publication of Third List and payment of fee to the respectiveNLUs (Same process to be followed for seat allotment)

12-Jul-2022 to 13-Jul-2022

Publication of Fourth List and payment of fee to the respectiveNLUs (Same process to be followed for seat allotment)

16-Jul-2022 to 17-Jul-2022

The exam authority also stated, “ If the candidates who have been allotted seats in the First to Fourth Allocation Lists want to withdraw their provisional admission, they shall do so on or before July 17, 2022. After the said date, Rs. 5,000/- (Rs. Five Thousand Only) will be deducted from the Counselling fee for blocking the seat and putting the other candidates at a disadvantage.”

The Cut-off rank for CLAT 2022 will be available once the first merit list is published by the exam authority. 

There are 2, 644 seats for UG courses, and 914 seats for PG courses, and the total test-takers this year were 56,472. The candidates who qualfied CLAT 2022 will be shortlisted for admission rounds after they complete counselling registration, and eligibility related documentation.
