CLAT 2023 Counselling: First seat allotment, merit list to be out today @consortiumofnlus.ac.in

The consortium will release the first seat allotment and merit list today at the official website - consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

The consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) will announce the first allotment list and merit list of the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2023 today, January 18, 2023. Once released, the candidates will be able to access the CLAT 2023 first allotment list at the official website - consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Candidates can accept, upgrade or exit from their allotted seat in any round of counselling. 

Steps to check CLAT 2023 first seat allotment list

The candidates need to follow these steps to check the seat allotment result:

• Go to the CLAT official website- consortiumofnlus.ac.in. 
• Login using your mobile number and password. 
• CLAT 2023 counselling first allotment list will be displayed on the screen. 
• Check your result and download it for future reference.

Once the allotment result is out, the shortlisted candidates can complete their admission by paying the counselling and admission fee. The candidates who are allotted seats in the first round can accept the seat, once accepted, the seat will get freezed, and they can also upgrade if want to change the allotted institute to his or her higher choice (upward shifting). If they choose upgrade, they have to wait for the next seat allotment list and they will be allotted seats in their preferred college depending on the availability of vacant seats in that college. CLAT 2023 candidates can also exit the counselling process if they do not want to participate in the current or further rounds of counselling.

The last date of admission as per the first allotment list is January 22, 2022.

CLAT 2023 counselling schedule

CLAT 2023 counselling will be held in at least five rounds until all seats get filled.

The CLAT 2023 second allotment list will be out on January 27, 2023, and for this round, the admission process will be completed by January 31, 2023. The third list will come out on May 25, 2023, fourth-June 5, and the fifth one on June 15, 2023.
