CLAT 2023 exam day guidelines are available now. Go through the instructions for CLAT 2023 including documents, exam timings and other details.
The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) released CLAT 2023 exam day instructions. Candidates appearing for CLAT 2023 must check these guidelines as it mentions all the essential documents, things prohibited inside the test centres etc.
Candidates must download CLAT 2023 admit card and get it printed out on A4 sheet as without it no candidates will be allowed inside the examination hall.
CLAT 2023 Exam Day Instructions
- "You shall be permitted to enter the Test Centre premises from 01:00 P.M. onwards and are to be seated at your respective seats in the Hall/ Classroom by 01:30 P.M.
- Once you have entered the Hall/ Classroom, you will not be permitted to leave the hall/ classroom before 04:00 P.M.
- Candidates who arrive later than 2:15 P.M. will not be permitted into the hall/ classroom.
- The test is for a duration of 2 (Two) hours and will commence sharp at 2:00 P.M.
- Candidates are not allowed to use the washroom after they enter the Hall/Classroom. In case of any medical issues, candidates should inform their Invigilators before starting the test.
CLAT 2023 Exam Day Bell Timings
- Please take note of the following timings when the bell shall be rung at Test Centre:

Items allowed inside the test centre
Candidates will only be allowed to take following items inside the examination hall:
- "Their Admit Card (In case your photograph is not clear on the Admit Card, you shall bring a self-attested photograph);
- A Government ID Proof (Aadhaar Card, Passport, PAN Card, Ration Card / PDS Photo Card, Voter ID Card, Driving License, Photo ID issued by Recognised Educational Institution, Photo Bank ATM Card, Kissan Photo Passbook, CGHS / ECHS Photo Card, Address Card having Name and Photo issued by Department of Posts, Certificate of Identity having photo issued by Gazetted Officer or Tehsildar on letterhead, Disability ID Card/handicapped medical certificate issued by the respective State/UT
Governments/Administrations) - Black or Blue BallPoint Pens;
- Transparent Water Bottle, A Face Mask (Candidate may be asked to take off the mask for checking);
- An Analogue Watch.
Bags or any other items will not be allowed inside the Test Centre premises."
