CLAT Application Form 2024: The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has revised the deadline to close the CLAT Registration 2024 Window. The CLAT 2024 registration last date is now on or before November 10, 2023. Earlier, the last date to submit CLAT 2024 Application Form was November 3, 2023. The Consortium released the CLAT 2024 Application Form on July 1, 2023. The Common Law Admission Test is scheduled to be held on December 3, 2023. The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) announced that the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2024 exam will be conducted only once a year. The consortium also clarified that the exam will be conducted on December 3 and there is no change in CLAT 2024 Exam Date. The last date to register for CLAT 2024 is November 3, 2023. All the candidates who are interested and are eligible must apply on or before the last date on the official website – consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

The exam authority publishes the merit list for all participating National Law Universities (NLUs) as per the reservation criteria of their state/ UT government. How to retrieve password, if forgotten?
In case, candidates forget the password required to login into their registered accounts, they can follow the below-mentioned steps to recover the same:
Step 1: On the login window for CLAT Admit Card, click on the 'Forgot Password' button at the bottom.
Step 2: It will redirect to a new page, where candidates need to enter their registered mobile number.
Step 3: Click on the 'Request OTP' button to get the OTP on the registered mobile number.
Step 4: A pop-up will appear – Click on the 'OK' button.
Step 5: Enter the mobile number, OTP (received on the mobile) and the new password.
Step 6: Click on the 'Reset' Password button.
Step 7: A new password will be successfully generated.
Thereafter, candidates can log in to their registered accounts using their mobile number and new password to download their CLAT hall ticket.

How many seats are offered by National Law Universities through CLAT?

CLAT Exam to be held only once?
The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) announced that the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2024 exam will be conducted only once a year. The consortium also clarified that the exam will be conducted on December 3 and there is no change in CLAT 2024 Exam Date. The last date to register for CLAT 2024 is November 3, 2023. Candidates who are looking forward to enrolling in NLUs must check CLAT 2024 Criteria for NRI and Foreign Nationals below:
- Indian Nationals/NRIs seeking admission in the UG programmes shall appear in CLAT 2024
- Foreign Nationals need not appear for the test
- For any information relating to the 22 NLUs, the candidate may refer to the e-brochure of the respective Institutions available in the Consortium website
- For NRI/NRI Sponsored/Foreign National seats, the applicants are advised to refer to the e-brochures as well as the websites of the respective NLUs for more details. All NRI Category candidates have to appear for the CLAT 2024 examination for those NLUs where such category is admitted through CLAT 2024 rankings and not admitted directly by the concerned Universities. Please note that for admission in these categories, you will need to apply directly to the concerned NLU in addition to appearing for the CLAT exam. Please refer to the NLU website for more information.
- Information regarding the details of intake, reservation policies and the courses offered along with the fee structures of various participating National Law Universities is available in the Information Brochure which can be accessed from the official website of CLAT and also from the websites of the participating NLUs. The CLAT counselling process 2024 will be conducted in online mode at consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The exam authority publishes the merit list for all participating National Law Universities (NLUs) as per the reservation criteria of their state/ UT government. How to fill CLAT 2024 Application Form 2024?
Filling and submitting the CLAT 2024 application form before the CLAT 2024 registration last date is important to appear for the law entrance exam. Candidates who have not submitted the application forms of CLAT 2024 must do so following the steps given below:
- Registration- The candidate can register by entering their name, mobile number, and email id. Also, select and confirm a password for the newly created applicant account.
- Login- Log in to access the application form.
- Select the program of study- After logging in, the first thing is to select the program of study 5-year LLB or one-year LLB
- Fill the form- There will be different fields like personal information, communication details, qualifying examination status, exam centre preferences (THREE centres can be selected in the order of preference), and reservation. All fields need to be filled.
- Submit the form- Once the details are duly filled, agree to the declaration, give consent and submit the form.
- Pay the application fee- In the last step, pay the application fee (which is category-specific) in online mode using credit or debit cards, or net banking. Note that in addition to the exam fee, candidates will have to pay an additional INR 500 if they want to opt for previous years' question papers.

CLAT 2024 Application Form Correction
The Consortium of NLUs will enable the facility for updating test centre preferences. To update their categories and test centres, candidates will have to follow the steps to edit CLAT application as under:

CLAT 2024 registration fee: Candidates will have to pay the CLAT Application fee 2024 to complete the CLAT Application Form 2024.
