CLAT Test Centre 2025 Guidelines OUT! Candidates who are appearing for the CLAT 2025 Exam are advised to check important CLAT 2024 exam instructions before CLAT Exam. CLAT 2025 Exam Day instructions were released by the Consortium. CLAT 2025 is scheduled to be held on December 1, 2024 in pen-and-paper mode.
CLAT 2025 Exam: The Consortium of NLUs will conduct the CLAT 2025 on Sunday; i.e. December 1, 2024. Candidates who will be giving the CLAT 2025 Exam must note that the consortium has released the CLAT Exam Centre Guidelines 2025. Candidates are advised to check important CLAT 2025 exam instructions before CLAT Exam. The Common Law Admission Test will be held in pen-and-paper mode, from 2 pm to 4 pm.
Candidates must note that the CLAT Scores 2025 will be accepted by 24 National Law Universities for admission to various law courses like; BA LLB, BBA LLB, B.Com LLB and B.Sc LLB and LLM programmes. Read further to know CLAT 2025 exam day guidelines to be prepared for the exam day.

CLAT 2025 Exam Day Guidelines
On the exam day, candidates must carry the following items to the allotted CLAT test center 2025:
- Download CLAT admit card 2025: The CLAT 2025 hall ticket is a mandatory document to be carried to the test centre. Candidates can download the CLAT admit card from the official website of the exam by using their mobile number and password.
- Keep ID proof ready: Along with the admit card, candidates also need to carry a valid and original photo ID proof to the centre. Both, ID proof along with the admit card will be checked at the entry gate of CLAT test centre. Candidates can carry documents such as Aadhar Card, Driver License, Passport, Voter ID, etc. as ID proofs.
- Attested photo: In case, the photograph printed on the admit card is not clear, such candidates must carry an attested photograph to the common law admission test centre. The photo should match the photograph printed on the CLAT 2025 admit card.
- Disability certificate: For candidates belonging to Persons with Disability (PwD) category, it is also mandatory to carry their disability certificate
- Blue/black ball-point pen: Since CLAT 2025 is an offline exam, candidates must carry a ball-point pen of blue and black colour to the centre. It may be noted that candidates will not be allowed to use a pen of any other colour for writing on the admit card or filling the details on the OMR sheet.
- Transparent water bottle: Candidates will not be offered water by the test centre authorities. Therefore, candidates are allowed to carry their water bottles. However, the water bottle should be transparent. Any other type of bottle will not be allowed inside the test centre premises.
- Analogue watch: This year, candidates are also allowed to carry analogue watches inside the test centre

Q: Will CLAT be held twice in 2025?
In 2022, CLAT exam was held twice, I. e. on June 19 as CLAT 2022, and on December 18, 2022 as CLAT 2023. However, from 2024 onwards, CLAT exam is to be conducted once in a year only, as confirmed by the exam officials in the latest notification. Earlier, CLAT exam was conducted in May or June, but from 2024 onwards the entrance exam will be conducted in December (of preceding year to the admission year) itself for concluding admissions on time. Therefore, CLAT counselling process will be completed by May of each academic year.
Q: What is CLAT 2025 Exam Date?
The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has announced that CLAT 2025 Exam Date is December 1. The CLAT Application Process 2025 is likely to begin on July 7, 2024. The CLAT 2025 Exam timing is 2 pm to 4 pm. The Common Law Admission Test 2025 will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode. The CLAT 2025 Exam will be held in offline mode.
Q: Are calculators allowed in CLAT Exam?
Calculators are not allowed in the CLAT exam. However, students are provided the virtual calculator during the exam which can be used to solving lengthy calculations. The virtual calculator is made available on the computer screen during the test and candidates can use it by clicking on the calculator link. Candidates are advised to practice solving numerical questions on their own as using virtual calculators can take much time
