Candidates must note that the CLAT Merit List 2024 will be released only on the official website of CNLU; i.e. consortiumofnlus.ac.in. 

Only those applicants who have completed the counselling registration process will be eligible to take part in the CLAT 2024 seat distribution process. The third list of allotments was made public on January 22. The process for allocating seats is as follows:

• The exam officials would first assign an NLU seat based on the rank and preferences of the candidates for NLU.
• Candidates can choose to accept the seat and continue with the admissions procedure after the applicable NLU's admission fee has been paid.

The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has released the third allotment list for Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2024 counseling today; i.e. January 22, 2023. Aspiring candidates who have participated in the counseling process for admission to law programs can access the seat allotment list on the official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

To view the CLAT 3rd allotment list for 2024, candidates can take the easy steps listed below:

• Go to consortiumofnlus.ac.in, the official website.
• Go to the 3rd allocation list for CLAT 2024.
• Enter your login information to log in.
• On your screen will appear the 3rd allocation list for CLAT 2024 counselling.
• For future use, review and download the CLAT 2024 3rd allotment list.

If a candidate would like to participate in more CLAT counselling sessions in 2024 and is dissatisfied with their allocated seat, they may decide to employ the float option. When accepting their assigned seat, candidates may indicate that they are willing to participate in additional rounds of counselling in order to gain a better seat. The seat assignment from the previous round is nullified if you choose to float and are given a seat in the subsequent round.

Candidates may opt out of the counselling process at any point by selecting the exit option. This withdrawal will result in the candidate's name not being taken into consideration for any subsequent rounds of the CLAT 2024 counselling procedure.

A full refund of 100% of the registration fee may be given to participants in CLAT counselling in 2024 who were not given a seat. Important information regarding CLAT counselling cost refund is as follows:

• The entire cost of the application will be reimbursed to applicants who are not assigned a seat throughout the counselling process.
• Moreover, individuals who were assigned seats but decide to withdraw from counselling after declining their seat assignment will receive refunds. However, the return will be of a lesser amount.
• If candidates are determined to be ineligible for admission, their reimbursement will be deducted by INR 5,000.
   

The CNLU will release the CLAT Third Allotment List 2024 today; i.e. January 22, 2024 at 10 am,

Candidates have to submit below documents to secure a spot in the allotted NLU. Candidates must upload the following documents:

• A copy of the CLAT 2024 application form
• CLAT scorecard
• CLAT admit card 2024
• Class 10th mark sheet
• Class 12th mark sheet
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• Specially-abled certificate (if applicable)
• NRI certificate (if applicable)
• Sponsored NRI certificate (if applicable)

Applicants only need to complete the guidelines listed below to confirm their seat assignment for CLAT 2024:

• Go to the official website of the NLU consortium.
• Click on the allocation list from the CLAT 2024 homepage.
• After selecting the link to the allotment list, the details of the seat distribution will appear on the screen.

The CNLU will release the CLAT 2024 Third Allotment List on January 22, 2024. 

Following the completion of the first five rounds of seat distribution in CLAT 2024, the consortium will hold a follow-up round, also referred to as a mop-up round, to distribute any seats that remain unfilled. Candidates may reapply for the CLAT 2024 mop-up round seat allocation if they were not accepted during the first five rounds of the exam.

The National Law Universities (NLUs) taking part in CLAT 2024 have this many seats available for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programmes. Five-year integrated LLB curricula, such the BA LLB, BBA LLB, B.Com LLB, and others, are offered by the UG courses. On the other hand, multiple specialty LLM programmes are available through postgraduate courses.

The list of documents needed for the CLAT PG counselling process 2024 is available to candidates:

• Class 10 mark sheet Class 12 mark sheet LL.B./B.L./Equivalent degree mark sheet 
• Admit Card for CLAT 2024
• Transfer/Migration Certificate Character/Conduct Certificate Transfer/Migration Certificate, if appropriate

An applicant may select the Exit option if they would like to forego the counselling process. A candidate will not be given a seat after they select the departure option. In the case that the candidate chooses to depart after choosing the freeze or float option, the assigned seat will be redistributed. The confirmation fee would also be forfeited.

A candidate may choose the float option if their first choice among NLUs has not been fulfilled. They can maintain the seats they have been given and still have a chance to get into the NLU of their choice if they choose this option. In addition, candidates need to pay the confirmation fee ahead of time.

If an applicant is satisfied with their seat assignment, they have the option to "freeze" it for CLAT counselling in 2024. These applicants will not be eligible for any future therapy sessions. They also have to pay the confirmation fee and the outstanding tuition balance.

The third round of CLAT 2024 seat allotment will be released on January 22, 2024 at 10 am.

After receiving their CLAT seat, candidates must complete the admissions process in order to be admitted to NLU. While the admissions process differs greatly throughout NLUs, it often comprises the following steps:

Payment of Admission charge: Candidates allotted seats in NLUs are required to pay the admission charge in order to be officially admitted. Every NLU has a unique fee and mode of payment.

Verification of Documents: In order for the NLU to verify documents, applicants must bring original paperwork. Typically, the package contains the CLAT scorecard, CLAT admission card, class 10 and 12 mark sheets, category certificate (if applicable), and other relevant documents.

Seat Confirmation: Candidates must submit the required documentation and pay any outstanding costs to confirm their seats after document verification.

Orientation Programme

The CLAT 2024 seat allocation list will contain the following information:

• The name of the applicant who made the admissions short list.
• The candidates who made the short list are ranked throughout India.
• Application and admit card numbers for those who made the short list, as well as the candidate categories (vertical and horizontal).

CLAT 2024 Counselling Registration was open until December 20, 2023. To take part in CLAT 2024 counselling, candidates can follow these steps:

• For each round, log into your CLAT account to confirm the counselling invitation
• Click "Pay Now" to proceed. applicants in the general category must pay INR 30,000 to register for counselling, while applicants in the ST, SC, OBC, BC, EWS, and PWD categories must pay INR 20,000
