G20 Presidency 2023: NLUD organises panel discussion

The National Law University of Delhi organised a panel discussion on the role of IP in the economic empowerment of women & the career journeys of inspirational women IP professionals.

In light of India's G20 Presidency and to mark World IP Day, the National Law University of Delhi in association with IPO India hosted a panel discussion focusing on the role of IP in economic empowerment of women & the career journeys of inspirational women IP professionals.

“We thank the moderators and panelists who contributed to the discussion, and our special thanks to our partners; IPO India and IPO UK. We look forward to more such collaborations,” tweeted the university.

Prof. (Dr.) Harpreet Kaur, Professor of Law & Registrar, at NLUD, made the closing remarks, where she championed stronger partnerships to celebrate & empower women in IP and called for continued discussions on the same.

The discussions were followed by a dinner reception hosted by the British Deputy High Commissioner to India Ms Christina Scott CMG, with Justice Prathiba Singh as the Guest of Honour for the evening.

Also, at NLUD, the final rounds of the 6th Edition of the Arun Jaitley International Moot Competition on Insolvency & Bankruptcy concluded over the weekend. Best Speaker (prelims round) was won by Aatreya N.of National Law Institute University official & Best Speaker (advanced) was won by Vanshika Agarwal, Institute of Law. 

NLUD to hire Research Associate

NLUD invites applications for the position of Research Associate in Law by May 21, 2023. The research post of Research Associate will be funded out of the grants received under the Major Research Project Sponsored (2023-25) from the ICSSR, New Delhi.

“National Law University, Delhi is seeking to engage, on contractual basis, one full-time Research Associate (Law). The Research Associate is expected to engage in diverse research activities including collection and compilation of research material, field work, data collection, data analysis, report drafting, etc. He/she is expected to assist the principal investigator in conducting research on various themes/projects,” reads the official notification.
