In light of India’s G20 presidency, National Law University Delhi conducted a roundtable on one of India’s G20 priority areas, titled ‘Sustainable Investments & ESG: An Exploration of India's Role’.

The topics discussed during the roundtable were - the growth of socially responsible investing in India, the role of ESG investments in fulfilling India’s SDG goals, the need to integrate climate & financial policies and the emerging emphasis on sustainability in Indian corporations.

"The opening address was delivered by Prof (Dr.) @harpreetkaurnlu, Professor of Law & Registrar, @NLUDofficial & the session was moderated by Dr. Abha Yadav, Assistant Professor, NLU Delhi," tweeted NLUD.

"We thank all the panelists, speakers, conveners, student volunteers and support staff for their efforts in the making of this event," said the university in another tweet.

NLUD inks MOU with The University of Waikato, NZ

National Law University Delhi signed a Memorandum of Understanding with The University of Waikato, New Zealand in the pursuit of conducting collaborative research, exploring cross-border student and faculty mobility programs & developing joint academic activities including seminars, workshops and conferences.

The MoU was signed by Professor (Dr.) G.S. Bajpai, Vice Chancellor, NLU Delhi and Professor, Neil Quigley, Vice Chancellor, University of Waikato. NLU Delhi and Waikato share a common interest in furthering international academic scholarship and research through collaborative arrangements. 

"The MoU sets out both parties' wishes to develop a relationship based on the principles of mutual respect and international connectedness. The MoU will be valid initially for a period of five years," reads university's official statement.
