GNLU to conduct Spot Counselling cum Admission for UG, PG courses

Gujarat National Law University is all set to conduct the Spot Counselling cum Admission round for UG and PG vacant seats on October 3, 2022, before 2:00 pm.

Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) has notified that it will conduct a Spot Counselling cum Admission round for various vacant seats of undergraduate and postgraduate courses on October 3, 2022. Interested candidates need to report to the University on October 3, 2022, before 2:00 pm.

The official notification says that the admissions will purely be on the basis of merit. There is one PG seat available each for NRI/NRI Sponsored and J&K categories and 3 UG seats in NRI/NRI Sponsored category.

GNLU's official notification reads, "The candidates are required to bring relevant documents for verification. Application fees shall have to be paid by the provisionally selected candidate along with the academic fees if the candidate is eligible to secure the seat." 

UG, PG courses offered by GNLU

Following are the courses offered by the law university:

  • Undergraduate Law Degree Programme: GNLU offers B.A.LL.B. (Hons); B.Com.LL.B. (Hons); B.Sc.LL.B. (Hons); B.B.A.LL.B. (Hons) and B.S.W.LL.B. (Hons) with a large variety of specializations to choose for the honours degree programme. Allocation of the stream is done on the basis of merit-cum-preference, subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria.
  • Post-Graduate Law Degree Programme: GNLU offers four specializations in LLM programme, namely Corporate and Business Law; Constitutional and Administrative Law; Criminal and Security Law; and Intellectual Property Law. Specializations are offered for a minimum of ten students.

"The NRI-UG Candidates are required to pay INR 1,38,000/- and tuition fees of USD 12500 and PG Candidates are required to pay INR 1,42,200/- and tuition fees of USD 6000. In addition, USD 2000 and USD 500 need to be paid by UG & PG candidates respectively as one time development charges," says the official notification.
