To represent the score, the LSAT exam authority uses a score band or scale from 420 to 480. The LSAT India scale is based on the number of questions they answer correctly. It is an estimation of candidates’ actual skill proficiency as tested through the exam.

Many colleges in India accept other law courses, such as CLAT (accepted by NLUs except NLU Delhi), AILET (accepted by NLU Delhi), and state level common entrance tests for the law subject. If a candidate does not want to appear in any entrance exams, then applying to a college that accepts scores of qualifying exams is the best option for him or her.

The LSAT India 2023 results or score will be valid for 5 years. However, candidates need to make sure that the institution in which they want to get admission accepts previous years' LSAT India scores or not by visiting its official website and checking the admission criteria or eligibility criteria for the law course they prefer. 

LSAC does not have any centralised counselling procedure for admission of qualified candidates in colleges accepting LSAT India scores. The role of the Council is limited to conducting the exam and declaring the results. Once LSAT India results are out, each participating college prepares a merit list to shortlist aspirants for admission in law courses offered by them. The counselling for admission is also conducted by some participating colleges separately.
