MNLU Nagpur organises first Convocation Ceremony

MNLU Nagpur organised its first convocation ceremony on February 11, 2023. The event was attended by High Court Judges, graduating students, faculty members, esteemed dignitaries, media persons as well as parents and family members of graduating students. MNLU Nagpur conferred 220 degrees including 158 UG degrees, 56 LLM, and 6 PhD degrees during the convocation ceremony.

Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU) Nagpur held its first convocation ceremony on February 11, 2023. The university conferred 220 degrees including 158 UG degrees BA LLB (Hons) Batch 2016 and Batch 2017, 56 LLM one-year postgraduate degree courses of batches 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020, and 6 PhD degrees during the convocation ceremony. A total of 28 gold medals were awarded to the graduating students.

The event was attended by High Court Judges, graduating students, faculty members, esteemed dignitaries, media persons as well as parents and family members of graduating students, as reported by Live Law.

The ceremony was graced by the Chief Justice Of India, Justice DY Chandrachud, Justice Sharad A. Bobde, Former Chief Justice of India and the Founder Chancellor of the University, Justice Sunil B. Shukre, Administrative Judge, High Court of Bombay, Bench at Nagpur, Justice A.S. Chandurkar, Judge, High Court of Bombay, Bench at Nagpur, Justice Bhushan R. Gavai, Judge, Supreme Court of India and Chancellor of the University, Justice Sanjay V. Gangapurwala, Acting Chief Justice, Bombay High Court and the Pro-Chancellor of the University, Justice Anil S. Kilor, Judge, High Court of Bombay, Bench at Nagpur, Dr Vijender Kumar, Vice Chancellor of the University and Dr Ashish J. Dixit, Registrar.
