NLSIU has invited applications for Project Coordinator, Training Manager, Content Lead, and Project Associates for its new training programme in collaboration with the Bengaluru City Police.
National Law School of India University (NLSIU) has collaborated with the Bengaluru City Police (BCP) for the two-year training programme for all personnel belonging to the BCP on issues of gender and gender-based violence. NLSIU is hiring for full times posts of Project Coordinator, Training Manager, Content Lead, and Project Associate for this training programme. These roles are full-time based out of the NLSIU campus in Bangalore and salaries will be commensurate with experience and sectoral standards.
Interested candidates need to fill out the application form and submit a CV, short statement of purpose of not more than 500 words, name, designation, organisation and contact information for 2 referees.
"Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, with the first review taking place seven days from the date of publication of this announcement i.e. September 23," reads the official notification.
The training programme will also include a training and awareness programme for members of the public to address violence against women in public spaces under the “Active Bystander Initiative”. NLSIU will collaborate with civil society organisations in the delivery of these programmes.

For all these posts, the candidates must have an LLB degree or graduate degree in the social sciences or humanities. For the Project Coordinator, the candidate must also have at least 7 years of post-qualification experience overall, including at least 4 years of relevant work experience in the project sector (e.g. criminal justice, gender sensitisation, or police training), for the Training Manager, 4+ years of post-qualification experience is required. For the Content Lead position, 4+ years of post-qualification experience and candidates with relevant work experience in the project sector (e.g. criminal justice, gender sensitisation, or police training) will be preferred. For Project Associates, 0-3 years of post-qualification experience is required and candidates with relevant work experience in the project sector (e.g. criminal justice, gender sensitisation, or police training) will be preferred.
