NLU Delhi has published specific instructions for AILET 2025 exam. Candidates must follow these instructions to appear for the exam. The AILET 2025 will be conducted on December 8, 2025.

AILET 2025 Exam Instructions: National Law University Delhi has published important instructions for AILET 2025 at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2025 will be held on December 8, 2025 from 2 PM to 4 PM. Candidates who are going to appear for the exam must follow these instructions to avoid cancellation of their candidature. 

The instructions published by the university are related to the reporting time, decorum at the test center, and the process of filling out the OMR sheet. These instructions are available here.

AILET 2025 Instructions for Candidates

2. Entry to the examination hall/room will not be allowed 15 minutes after the test begins, i.e., after 2:15 PM.  

3. Candidates are permitted to carry only the following items into the examination hall/room:  
   - Blue or black ballpoint pen  
   - Admit card  
   - Valid photo ID proof and passport-sized photographs  
   - Transparent water bottle  

4. Bring your own blue/black ballpoint pen, as sharing stationery like pens or pencils is prohibited.  

5. Carrying any communication devices or electronic gadgets, such as mobile phones, digital watches, Bluetooth devices, earphones, pagers, health bands, or calculators, is strictly forbidden. Only analog watches are allowed.  

AILET 2025 Instructions Regarding OMR Sheet and Question Booklet

To fill out the AILET 2025 OMR sheet and using the question booklet, candidates must follow the instructions mentioned below: 

1. The candidate shall not open the plastic-sealed envelope containing the Question Booklet and OMR Response Sheet before 2:00 PM.

2. Use only Blue / Black Ball Point Pen for writing the Roll No. details on OMR Response Sheet and for shading the circles. The candidates are required to put his/her signature and fill all the details such as Roll number, question paper booklet number on the space provided on the OMR Response Sheet.

3. Test Paper is of 150 marks containing 150 Multiple Choice Questions, which will be in English.

4. The candidate is required to select the most appropriate answer to each question. The answer circle should be shaded completely without leaving any space. Incomplete circles will not be evaluated.

5. Indicate only one answer by shading from the options provided. More than one response to a question shall be counted 'wrong'.

Q:   When will AILET 2025 be conducted?

A:

The AILET 2025 exam was conducted on December 8, 2024 from 2 PM to 4 PM. The exam was conducted offline. The AILET 2025 application was released on August 1, 2024 at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. Through this exam, candidates will be able to apply for BA LLB (Hons.), LLM, and PhD in Law courses taught at the National Law University Delhi.

Q:   I have lost my password for the AILET 2025 account. How can I retrieve it?

A:

If you have lost or forgotten the password for your AILET account, you need to visit the AILET official website - nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. Then, you need to click on the "Forgot Password?" option.

In the next step, you need to enter or confirm the email address that you used for the AILET registration. A "Reset Password" option will pop-up on the screen. Click on this option. A link to reset the new password will be sent to your registered email address. By clicking on the link and creating a new password, you will be able to generate your new AILET account password. 

Q:   What are the things to carry to AILET exam centre 2025?

A:

On the day of the exam, candidates must carry the following documents and items to the AILET centre:

  • AILET admit card: Since, it is a mandatory document to be carried to the test centre, candidates must carry their admit card as issued to them. Candidates without a valid admit card on the day of the exam will not be allowed to take it.
  • Photo ID proof: Along with the admit card, candidates must also carry an original photo ID proof issued by the Government of India. Documents that can be presented as an ID proof include PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, Aadhaar Card and Ration Card. 
  • Photo: Candidates should carry an attested passport size photograph  (the same as uploaded at the time of filling the application form). 
  • Stationary: Since the AILET 2025 is an offline exam, candidates must carry at least two good-quality ball-point pens of blue or black ink and an HB pencil to the test centre
  • Disability certificate: The certificate is mandatory for candidates who have applied under the Persons with Disability (PwD) category
  • Other items such as an analogue watch, transparent water bottle, face masks, gloves and hand sanitizer are also to be carried to the test centre.

6. The candidate must handle the OMR Response Sheet with care and must not fold, wrinkle, tear or staple it.

7. The OMR Response Sheet is carbonized. The candidates shall return the original OMR Response Sheet to the invigilator after the examination is over and take away the carbonized copy of OMR Response Sheet.
8. Use only a black or blue ballpoint pen to fill in details like Roll Number and Question Booklet Number and to shade answer circles on the OMR Response Sheet. Ensure all details are completed and signed in the designated spaces.  

9. Shade the circle of the most appropriate answer completely. Partially filled circles will not be evaluated.  

10. Mark only one answer per question; multiple responses will be considered incorrect.
