NLUD announces launch of India Chapter of Daughters of Themis

Scholars from diverse backgrounds and at all levels of academia are encouraged to join the NLUD's network of the India Chapter of Daughters of Themis.

NLU Delhi has announced the launch of the India Chapter of Daughters of Themis under the leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Harpreet Kaur.

Daughters of Themis is a platform to foster a community of women business scholars to promote research, collaboration and support.

Daughters of Themis offers a forum for open and inspiring discussions about the common areas of interest, facilitating sharing and mutual support for all its members throughout their academic careers and lives.

With its annual international workshops and steadily increasing membership, the network has become an important meeting place for women business scholars around the world.

In order to apply for membership, the application should be submitted through the online form available on the official website of NLUD.

The network organises annual workshops for its members, conducive to in-depth academic discussions and good conversations. It provides a platform for research by conducting relevant workshops and conferences which promote valuable discussions among the members. The fruits of the open and inspiring discussions add

value to the quality of research undertaken by the members, said NLUD statement.

The objectives are to provide a platform for women business scholars to connect and foster a community to facilitate sharing and mutual support, to bring women business academicians, legal experts, professionals and scholars on the panel for discussion and research, to promote research and collaborations on legal, regulatory and policy issues, and to conduct workshops, conferences, panel discussions and seminars in diverse areas of interests of the members.
