The National Law University Delhi has invited applications for Senior Communications Manager at its campus in Dwarka, New Delhi on a contractual basis.

NLUD calls applications for Senior Communications Manager

The National Law University (NLU) Delhi has called for applications through Project 39 A for Senior Communications Manager at its campus in Dwarka, New Delhi on a contractual basis latest by June 27, 2022.

The contract will be for one year initially and can be extended on an annual basis at the discretion of the University. The manager will work closely with the Executive Steering Committee and the communications team in ideation and delivery of the Communications requirements of the project.

Interested persons may send their resumé, portfolio of their work and a statement of purpose explaining their interest in the role. The statement of purpose must not exceed 500 words. 

Eligibility Requirements

The candidate must have a Masters degree in marketing, communications, journalism or a related field with a total of 8 to 10 years of experience with at least 5 years of experience working in the public relations or communications sector. Previous experience engaging with issues related to the criminal justice system or access to justice is highly desirable.

An ability to tell concise yet engaging stories using audio-visual materials, and a sophisticated understanding of key social media platforms and the strategies that might be relevant for such platforms.

The applicant must have a working knowledge of audio-visual editing and design software, a demonstrable ability to take ownership, have accountability and work in a collaborative, closely-knit, multi-disciplinary team.

Moreover, demonstrable skills and previous experience in communications research and strategy, media relations, digital engagement best practices, network management, and event planning and management. High proficiency in English and ability to read/ write/ speak additional Indian languages will be an advantage but is not mandatory.
