Admissions are open in NLUO for the BA LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons) and LLM programmes under NRI/NRI Sponsored /PIO/OCI categories for the Academic Year 2023-2024, interested candidates can apply by April 10, 2023.

NLUO announces admissions to BA LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons), LLM under NRI category 

National Law University Odisha (NLUO) has announced that the candidates seeking admissions to the BA LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons) and LLM programmes under NRI/NRI Sponsored /PIO/OCI categories should apply by April 10, 2023.

The university has announced that out of a total of 120 seats for BA LLB (Hons) and 60 seats for the BBA LLB (Hons) Programme, 15 seats (10 in BA LLB and 5 in BBA LLB) are allotted to NRI/NRI sponsored / PIO / OCI candidates.

Similarly in LLM, programme 4 seats are allotted to NRI/NRI sponsored / PIO / OCI candidates.

"Candidates who wish to apply to B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) / B.B.A.LL.B.(Hons.) / LL.M. Programmes for the Academic Session 2023-2024 under NRI / NRI Sponsored / PIO / OCI Categories need to send the duly filled-in application form, other relevant documents and a proof of deposit of application fees etc. directly to the University through admissions2023@nluo.ac.in before 10.04.2023," reads NLUO's notification.

"Applications under NRI / NRI Sponsored / PIO / OCI Category shall be considered for admission in case the candidate had appeared for CLAT 2023 under NRI/NRI Sponsored / PIO / OCI Category. They shall send the filled in application form along with the copy of the admit card of CLAT 2023, other relevant documents and prescribed fees. They shall be admitted as per their Rank in CLAT 2023, depending upon the vacancies," added the notification.

The candidates also need to pay the application fee of INR 2,000, which is non-refundable, non-adjustable and non-transferable.

Once the candidate is admitted under the NRI / NRI Sponsored / PIO / OCI Category the admission will not be converted into any other category subsequently.
