NLUO celebrates 26th National Youth Day 2023

NSS Bureau, National Law University, Odisha celebrated the '26th National Youth Day 2023.

NSS Bureau, National Law University, Odisha in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Cuttack celebrated the '26th National Youth Day 2023 on January 12, 2023.

"Mr. Ashok Kumar Dash, Deputy Director/OSD, Nehru Yuva Kendra, Cuttack, graced the occasion as a panelist. The opening ceremony of 26th National Youth Festival, 2023 was livestreamed which included a speech of Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi," reads NLUO's tweet.

Prof. Ved Kumari, Vice Chancellor and Mr. Rangin Tripathy, Registrar, NLUO, also graced the occasion.

From 1984 onwards, the Government of India has designated the January 12 of each year as ‘The National Youth Day’ to commemorate Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary. He was a great Indian thinker, philosopher, and social leader.

In the year 1987-88, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan(NYKS) was set up as an autonomous organization under the Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. NYKS also is the largest grassroots-level youth organization in India. Its motto remains to channel the power of youth on the principles of voluntarism, self-help, and community participation.

Virtual interactive session with Mr. Vinod Kothari

The Centre for Corporate Law NLUO is organising a virtual interactive session with Mr. Vinod Kothari tomorrow, January 18, 2023, at 06:00 PM IST. The theme of the session is “Insights on the contemporary issues and debates in the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Regime”.

This session is a bid to continue the centre’s endeavour to promote and discourse within the field of corporate and its allied commercial laws. The session shall be open to students, practitioners, researchers, academicians, policymakers and other stakeholders in the field of law and business.
