The National Law University of Odisha has shared the placement data of batch 2023, the students got placed at Luthra and Luthra Law Offices India, Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan, Bharucha & Partners and others. The university congratulated the students.

Ms Jhalak Gupta, Ms Toshika Soni and Ms Anusha Agrawal from the National Law University of Odisha got placement at Luthra and Luthra Law Offices India.

NLUO's tweet reads, "It is with great pleasure that we inform you that our students, Ms. Jhalak Gupta, Ms. Toshika Soni and Ms. Anusha Agrawal, have received placement offers from Luthra and Luthra Law Offices India."

"We congratulate them on this outstanding achievement and wish them further success and growth in this new role," reads another tweet by the university.

Also, Ms Aarushi Prabhakar has received a placement offer from Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan, and Ms Monika Saxena and Mr Darshit Sidhabhatti, have received placement offers from Bharucha & Partners. 

Mr. Shantanu Dubey and Mr. Mohit Kandpal, have received placement offers from S&A Law Offices. Ms Alvia Ahsan, Ms Samikshya Mishra and Ms Avni Sharma have received placement offers from Welspun.

NLUO to hold a discussion on the environment on April 18

"Public participation in decision-making is instrumental to the Environmental Rule of Law. In this light, we are pleased to invite you to a discussion with the noted environmental activist and recipient of the Goldman Environment Prize (Green Nobel Prize) Mr. Prafulla Samantara," reads NLUO's statement.

Mr Samantara presently serves as the president of Lok Shakti Abhiyan, a People’s Forum which campaigns for sustainable development, the right to livelihood, and the protection and conservation of natural resources against unmindful industrialization.

Having painstakingly committed himself to voice concerns of indigenous tribes, local communities and affected individuals, our speaker would be in a seasoned position to shed light on the position of public participation in environmental decision-making, added the university's statement.
