The Course fee is INR 500 excluding GST for RGNUL Students and INR 800 excluding GST for others. Students wishing to attend the course have to register. The last day for registration is September 29, 2023, and the course lecture will start tomorrow.

Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL) is offering a Two-Credit Course on International Criminal Law. The registration started on August 17, 2023. Today, September 29, 2023, is the last date to apply for the course. The course lecture will start from tomorrow, September 30, 2023.

Two-Credit Course on International Criminal Law will allow students to explore aspects of international law and justice to develop their understanding of the role of international criminal law and individual accountability as part of the international legal order.

The course will be taught through online and offline lectures by experts in the area of international criminal law. Together with the lectures and case studies, other collaborative methods may also be utilised to analyse the issues surrounding the various aspects of the framework of international criminal law.

The Course offers two credits and for the purposes of evaluation, an examination based on relevant MCQs/Quizzes relating to the topics discussed shall be held in an online mode. Each participant shall be required to have 75% attendance to be eligible for the examination and has to secure at least 55% marks in order to become eligible for the award certificate of the course.

The main objective of the course is to sensitize learners with the nuances of international criminal law in its present status, create awareness about the principles of international criminal law and its application by international criminal tribunals, acquaint learners with the contemporary developments in the field of international criminal law; and Develop the analytical and critical thinking skills of the learners in discussing and solving issues related to international criminal law, and provide an understanding of the legal and regulatory of the international criminal justice system.
