Symbiosis International University (SIU) has postponed the entrance exams once again. The university has earlier scheduled the entrance exam including SLAT 2020 to be held on May 31 in an Internet-Based Test (IBT) mode. However, it has been postponed due to adverse conditions caused by Coronavirus pandemic and lockdown across the country. The university has not released any detailed notification for SLAT 2020 exam postponement or any update on the revised date. Currently, the country is in under lockdown 4.0 until May 31. The revised dates for SLAT 2020 is expected to be announced thereafter.

The official website of SIU admissions i.e. set-test.org stated as under:

This year, SLAT 2020 will be conducted in a different mode wherein candidates would be able to take the examination from the comfort of their homes itself. The lockdown, which has been implemented across the country to contain the spread of Coronavirus is being extended since the number of newly infected cases rising up eventually.

SIU was set to conduct a mock test for SLAT 2020 on May 24 to acquaint candidates with the upcoming examination. However, it has been postponed as well due to the same reason. The university will now conduct it on a revised date as it is important to take a trial for the remotely-proctored examination before the actual exam.

The online registration for SLAT 2020 has been closed on May 20 only and, no new extension in the application dates was announced.
