MH CET Law 2024 Normalisation process will ensure candidates are neither benefitted nor disadvantaged due to the difficulty level of the examination as CET Cell conducted LLB 3 Year CET exam in multiple shifts.
The State Common Entrance Test Cell issued a notification stating the MH CET Law 2024 normalisation process. Since the CET CELL conducted the MH CET 3 Year LLB exam in multiple shifts, there would be chances of inconsistent difficulty levels in question papers. To make the MHT CET Law 2024 3 Year LLB result fair for every student, the authorities will follow the below-mentioned normalisation method to calculate percentile scores.
"The process of Normalization is an established practice for comparing candidate scores across multi-shift papers and is similar to those being adopted in other large educational selection tests conducted in India." States the official notification.
What is Percentile Score?
Percentile scores are scores that are created based on the performance of aggregate students who appeared in the examination. The marks scored are converted into a range between 0 to 100 for each session. Further, it indicates the percentage of students who have equal to or below that particular percentile. The authorities will calculate percentile scores up to seven decimal places to avoid ties between students.

Step-by-Step Process for MH CET Law 3 Year LLB 2024 Normalisation and Percentile Score
The following process will be followed for MH CET Law 2024 percentile score calculation
Step 1: Distribution of examinees in two days and two sifts per day in approximately equal numbers.
Step 2: Preparation of MH CET Law 2024 results for each session using the percentile formula.
Step 3: Compilation of Total CET score: The Percentile of all four sessions will be calculated separately for the Total raw score merge the Percentile Scores calculated above of all four sessions for the Total Percentile for preparation of CET scores.
