TNDALU Admission 2023: Registration commences for 5-year LLB Hons courses

TNDALU has started the admission process for a 5-year BA LLB(Hons)/ BBA LLB (Hons), BCA LLB (Hons), and BCom LLB (Hons). Candidates will have to submit separate application forms for courses offered in affiliated law colleges.

Tamil Nadu Dr Ambedkar Law University (TNDALU) has started the application process for 5-year integrated BA LLB (Hons)/ BBA LLB (Hons), BCA LLB (Hons), and BCom LLB (Hons). The last date to apply for admission is May 31, 2023.

"Admission to the 5 Year BA LLB(Hons), BCom LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons) and BCA LLB (Hons) degree courses are made on the basis of merit assessed on the following criteria, as per the G.O.Ms.No.83, Law (LS) Department dt.19.04.2007 - for 5 Year BALLB (Hons), BCom LLB (Hons), BBA LLB(Hons) and BCA LLB (Hons) degree courses, the percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in the Plus Two examinations or percentage of Marks obtained in the Diploma or Polytechnic in aggregate of all the subjects, excluding languages, will be taken into account. The marks obtained by the students in the Plus Two examination on the first attempt alone may be taken into account. The marks obtained by them in the improvement examinations shall not be taken into account," reads TNDALU Prospectus.

For the candidates who completed 3 Year Diploma OR Polytechnic from the Recognized Educational Institution, the marks shall be calculated as per the direction passed in the appropriate Government Order issued by the Law Department, Government of Tamil Nadu. The respective GO will be uploaded to the university's official website.

"More than twelve thousand students are pursuing their law degrees through Affiliated Law Colleges, in addition to the School of Excellence in Law. The Tamil Nadu Dr Ambedkar Law University as a nodal agency has been admitting students for all the Government Law Colleges and the Private Law Colleges," says the official statement.

The following are the scholarships available for the students of the University - Government of Tamil Nadu SC/ST Scholarship, Post-metric Scholarship, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Merit Scholarship, Government of Tamil Nadu BC/MBC scholarship, Government of India Prime Minister Merit Scholarship, Scholarship for the Wards of the Farmers, Higher Education Loan to the SC/ST Students provided by the Government of India, and Moovalur Ramamirtham Ammaiyar Higher Education Assurance Scheme.
