The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) will declare the results of TS LAWCET 2022 for the five-year and three-year LLB courses, and TS PGLCET 2022 in the month of August. The results will be declared once the exam authority publishes the revised/ final answer keys for TS LAWCET 2022 and TS PGLCET 2022. The preliminary answer key of the TSCHE law entrance exams were published on July 26, and candidates could raise objections on it before July 28. The exam authority will verify the objections submitted by the candidates can revise the answer keys if any of their claim is found correct. How TS LAWCET 2022 and PGLCET 2022 scores are calculated?
The scores of the law entrance exam will be calculated on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in all three sections, and then combining them. The marks for each section of TS LAWCET 2022 for the three-year LLB and five-year Integrated LLB course is as under:
Part – A General Knowledge and Mental Ability: Consists of 30 questions carrying 30 marks
Part – B Current Affairs: Consists of 30 questions carrying 30 marks
Part – C Aptitude for the Study of Law: Consists of 60 questions carrying 60 marks
The marks for each section of TS PGLCET 2022 are as under:
Part - A consists of 40 questions (Jurisprudence and Constitutional Law) carrying 40 marks
Part - B consists of 80 questions (Public International Law, Mercantile Law, Labour Law, Crimes and Torts, and Other Laws) carrying 80 marks
There is no negative marking in case of wrong attempts for both the entrance exams.
TS LAWCET 2022 minimum qualifying marks
Candidates need to obtain the minimum marks as per their category to qualify for the law entrance exams. The minimum qualifying marks for TS LAWCET 2022 and TS PGLCET 2022 is as under:

Tie-Breaking Policy for TS LAWCET 2022 and PGLCET 2022 merit list
The exam authority will also be preparing a separate rank list for the three-year LLB course, five-year LLB course, and the LLM course. The rank list will contain name, category, ranks and marks of candidates. There may be instances where two or more candidates obtain same marks, in such scenarios, the rank list will be prepared as under:

- Candidate securing highest scores in Part C i.e. Aptitude for the Study of Law will be given preference
- If the tie still exists, candidates with highest scores in Part B i.e. Current Affairs will be given preference
- If the tie still persists then, candidate older in age will be given preference
TS PGLCET 2022 rank list
- The candidate who has secured higher marks in Part A i.e. Jurisprudence and Constitutional Law will be given preference first
- If there is a tie even after this then the candidate older in age will be considered
TSCHE will be sharing the counselling schedule for TS LAWCET 2022 and TS PGLCET 2022 for online web counselling and seat allotment after declaration of results only.
