Xavier Law School's Moot Court Competition on Dec 16 to Dec 18

The first edition of the National Human Rights Moot Court Competition is organised by Xavier Law School, XIM University from December 16 to December 18, 2022.

Xavier Law School, XIM University, in collaboration with the National Human Rights Commission of India and with the Chambers of Abhinav Mishra, Advocates & Solicitors, is all set to organise the first edition of the National Human Rights Moot Court Competition from December 16 to December 18, 2022.

This premier event is designed to offer participants the chance to learn about the evolution of jurisprudence on significant developments in constitutional law and human rights law, as well as to arm the next generation of lawyers with research and oratory abilities, as reported by Live Law.

The mode of conduct of the Moot Court Competition will be offline and it will be held on the campus of Xavier Law School. The last date to apply for the competition is November 25, 2022, till 11:59 pm and the registration fee is INR 4500 per team inclusive of accommodation and food.

Eligibility Requirement

The following are the eligibility criteria-

• All students duly enrolled in and are pursuing a full-time 3-year LLB or a 5-year integrated LLB programme from the institution/university recognized by the Bar Council of India or equally competent authority shall be eligible to participate.
• Only one team can register from any college.

The winner of the competition will get a cash prize of INR 51,000, runners-up to get INR 36,000 and Best Memorial (Petitioner) will get INR 11,000.
