Lloyd Law College conducts Professional Orientation Program for LLB students

Lloyd Law College conducted a Professional Orientation Program for LLB students of batches 2021-24 and 2022-25 with the name "Immigration Law Practice and International Career".

"In contemporary times, classroom teaching for a student of law degree program remains insufficient as potential recruiters look for law graduates who are not only well versed with the Bare Acts, but who also possess adequate practical knowledge and are familiar with working of the Courts. Apart from this, fluency in communication skills, including good drafting skills is necessary for a law graduate. This all can’t be covered in classroom teaching; it has become essential for every law college to take the teaching & learning beyond classrooms and to bring in the element of understanding & application of law in

its curriculum. Considering this, we have adopted this policy document," reads the official notification.

The distinguished speaker was Dr Sumit Sen, Barrister and Solicitor, Canadian Immigration Lawyer, Former United Nations Lawyer, Rhodes Scholar, Oxford University Refugee Studies Centre and London School of Economics, Managing Partner, SEN LAW, Canada (Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver, Montreal).

Cultural Cell Orientation and Auditions 2022-2023 on Oct 14

Lloyd Law College & Lloyd School of Law is organizing Orientation Sessions and Auditions for the students of the B.Com.LL.B./BA.LL.B. batches (2022-27, 2021-26, 2020-25) and LL.B. (2022-25, 2021-24) for the Cultural cell.

"It is believed that students participating in cultural activities perform well in their academics. This is because they learn discipline and time management from such activities. This helps them to plan their schedule accordingly and leads to a better learning process. The cultural activities enhance the confidence level of the students thereby allowing them to perform better. These activities develop the personality of the students and assist them in shaping a good career," added Lloyd Law College notification.
