IIMC releases second merit list of all PG Diploma courses; counselling dates released

The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) has released the second merit lists for admission to all PG Diploma courses offered at IIMC New Delhi and the other regional institutes on November 10, 2020. Candidates who have been shortlisted in the second merit list, will have to complete the counselling session by November 16, 2020. Students are given eight days to complete the admission process by verifying their details and submitting the first semester fees on the online payment gateways which are mentioned on the official website of IIMC.

The second merit lists have been released online for the following courses which are as follows:

Advertising and Public Relations

Radio and TV Journalism

Hindi Journalism

English Journalism, Dhenkanal

English Journalism, Aizwal

English Journalism, Amravati

English Journalism, Jammu

English Journalism, Kottayam

Malayalam Journalism

Marathi Journalism

Urdu Journalism

Earlier, there were many issues reported of errors being made in the first merit lists, which led to the institute releasing another merit list. Students had also reported technical glitches and issues while appearing for the IIMC Entrance Exam, which was conducted in online mode i.e. Remote Proctored Test (RPT). The IIMC Entrance Exam 2020 was conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC).

Candidates are advised that admissions are provisional subject to verification of their educational and category certificates in the original form before the completion of the course. Shortlisted candidates are informed that if any document is proved fake, the candidate will be expelled and the fee paid will be forfeited.
