JMI Entrance Exam 2024: Application form out for UG/PG Programmes; Check JMI Admission Dates Inside

The Jamia Millia Islamia has released the application form for all the undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered by it. Candidates planning to apply for the JMI entrance exam 2024 will have to fill out the application form in online mode. The Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has released the application form for the JMI admission 2024. The JMI registration process for the undergraduate and postgraduate courses has started, and candidates interested in getting admission to JMI can fill out the application form by March 30, 2024. To fill out the application form for JMI admission 2024, candidates will have to visit its official website - jmicoe.in.

JMI will conduct the JMI entrance test from April 25, 2024 onwards. Admission of eligible candidates to all the UG and PG programmes will be done on a merit basis on the entrance test, except for BTech, BArch, and BDS. The entrance test will be followed by an interview.

Steps to apply for JMI Entrance Test 2024

Step 1 - Visit the official webiste - jmicoe.in

Step 2 - On the homepage, go to the “Admission” section and click on the link titled “Click here to apply for UG/PG/BTECH/BARCH/ DIP/ADP/PGD/CER(session 2024-25)”

Step 3 - Click on the new registration tab and fill in all your details carefully.

Step 4 - Use the credentials to sign in and proceed with the detailed filling of the JMI application form 2024.

A candidate can submit only one form for each programme or group of programmes (with a combined entrance test). Multiple submissions for the same programme may cause rejection.

For most UG and PG programmes, the university will consider CUET, JEE and other national-level test marks. The online admission forms for the courses where tests will be conducted by JEE, NATA, and CUET will be made available ten days from the declaration of results by respective agencies, the university said.

What after the JMI entrance test?

Candidates who obtain less than 30 per cent marks in the descriptive part of the JMI entrance test, wherever applicable, will not be shortlisted for interview and admission. There will also be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in the objective type or multiple choice questions in all programmes of the university. 

Candidates scoring less than 15 per cent marks in the objective type or multiple choice questions will not be shortlisted for interview and admission.

For BTech course, the admission of eligible candidates will be done as per merit based on the final ranks of candidates in JEE Main 2024, for BArch admission will be offered to candidates in NATA 2024 conducted by the Council of Architecture 2024, while for the BDS program, the admisison will be made based on merit in NEET 2024.
