Acharya Bangalore B-School (ABBS) hosted its 14th Graduation Day 2023 for students of the postgraduate programme in management (MBA) at ABBS campus in Bengaluru. As many as 259 students of MBA and MBA (Business Analytics) graduated from their programmes. Students were conferred degrees in the presence of their parents and teachers. Around 259 students including three outstanding awarded students received their degrees.
The graduation day commenced with the ceremonial procession led by the chief guest, Dr Lavanam Amballa, National Head - Campus Hiring, Wipro Limited and Nakul Basani, Executive Director-Operations, Acharya Bangalore B-School, joined with senior faculty members to bid farewell to the Class of 2023.
Accomplishments of meritorious students were celebrated on the occasion and all such students who performed well in academics as well as co-curricular activities were awarded. Sachin GA, MBA, awarded the best outgoing student-Academics, Vinal, MBA, awarded the best outgoing student-overall and Vignesh Kumar K, MBA (Business Analytics) awarded the best outgoing student-Academics.
Addressing the graduating students, the Chief Guest, Dr Lavanam Amballa, National Head - Campus Hiring, Wipro Limited, said, “I urge all students to be responsible global citizens. Stay connected with your alma mater. ABBS and actively contribute to its growth and development. Education is a lifelong journey, and the impact of your experiences at this esteemed institution will continue to shape your path long after you graduate. Excellence should not be limited to institutions; it should be a virtue that stretches across our great nation. Each of us has a role to play in creating an educational landscape that fosters innovation, inclusivity, and brilliance.”
Nakul Basani, Executive Director-Operations, Acharya Bangalore B-School, addressed the students on the occasion, said, “We remain dedicated to facilitate all our students’ in pursuit of advanced knowledge and skills while fostering a sense of social responsibility. Lessons outside the classroom are important than lessons inside the classroom. Today shows the efforts made by all our students to celebrate their alma mater. I congratulate all my students who are graduating from your respective programmes at a time when there is a stagnant in job market within the country. While global challenges persist, there is rising optimism about India's economic future. There is a tsunami of change and disruption coming our way and have seen so much disruption, especially in the last five years as Technology has disrupted every aspect of our life. It has also sparked unprecedented opportunity space for new jobs, new roles and new industries and the only way you could seize all of this is if you are constantly learning. This is a good time for you to build your careers and contribute to the country's growth. ABBS has created a plethora of choices for them and helped them trust their instincts which will ensure that they navigate through a successful career ahead.”
