In addition to the PGDM and PGDITM awards, 15 students were honored for successfully completing their PhD program in Business Administration, offered in collaboration with Aligarh Muslim University.

The All India Management Association (AIMA) held its 29th Convocation Ceremony, honoring a record 1,464 students across various programs. The ceremony, held at AIMA's headquarters, was graced by distinguished guests and celebrated the academic achievements of graduates in the fields of management and technology.

Nikhil Sawhney, President of AIMA, presided over the event, conferring diplomas and certificates to the graduating class. The convocation recognized achievements in flagship programs including the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and the Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology Management (PGDITM). A total of 223 students received these prestigious diplomas.

In addition to the PGDM and PGDITM awards, 15 students were honored for the successful completion of their PhD program in Business Administration, offered in collaboration with Aligarh Muslim University. The ceremony also highlighted the exceptional performance of three students who were awarded AIMA’s Gold Medals for their outstanding academic accomplishments.

The convocation saw the distribution of various other credentials: Over 800 students were awarded Post Graduate Certificates in specializations such as finance, business analytics, international business, digital marketing, and professional diplomas in public procurement. More than 400 students received Professional Certificates and short course certificates in areas including financial modeling, contract dispute resolution, public-private partnership, and business consulting.

Dr Bhimaraya Metri, Chairman of the Board of Studies, presented a report on the various activities and achievements of AIMA's Centre for Management Education (CME) during the academic year 2023-24. He detailed the strides made in expanding educational offerings and improving student outcomes.

Professor TG Sitharam, Chairman of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), delivered the Convocation Address as the Chief Guest. Professor Sitharam shared insights into AICTE’s ongoing initiatives to enhance the Gross Enrollment Ratio (GER) in technical education and the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. He congratulated the graduates on their accomplishments and urged them to adapt to the evolving demands of the management profession.

The convocation was attended by over 400 students and more than 100 senior academicians and industry leaders, including vice-chancellors, captains of industry, and directors of renowned institutions.

The event marked a significant milestone in the academic journey of the graduates and underscored AIMA’s role in shaping the future of management education in India.
