CAT 2023 Notification Next Week; Check Latest Syllabus, Pattern & Exam Fees

CAT 2023 notification will be released next week (July 31) and the registration process will begin most likely from August 2, 2023. The CAT 2023 syllabus and pattern will be released along with the exam notification. The CAT fee and other details will also be notified.

CAT 2023 exam date will be officially announced by the IIM Lucknow on July 31, 2023 via an official notification. The CAT 2023 registration process is expected to begin from August 2, 2023. The CAT syllabus and pattern are not expected to change but the exam fee can change as it has been increased every year since 2019.

CAT 2023 exam will be conducted by IIM Lucknow. The CAT exam date 2023 is November 26. There will be three sessions, each of 2 hours with sectional time limit of 40 minutes per section. The exam will be held in computer based mode at over 400 exam centres in various cities across India. The list of CAT test cities will be available in the CAT 2023 application form. Candidates will be allowed to select up to three cities for test centre allotment. The CAT 2023 registration form will be available at the iimcat.ac.in website.

CAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates who have completed graduation or are in the final year of their bachelor’s degree programme are eligible for CAT.
• The minimum score required to apply for CAT is 50 per cent aggregate for General category students and 45 per cent aggregate for Reserved category students.
• Candidates who have professional degrees equivalent to graduation can also appear for CAT

CAT 2023 Syllabus

CAT 2023 syllabus will include all the important topics of Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) and Quantitative Aptitude. The important topics of CAT syllabus include Arithmetic, Algebra, Bar Graphs, Tables, Series, Coding-Decoding, Family Tree, Blood Relation, Circular Arrangement, etc. In VARC, the main focus will be on Reading Comprehension and Para Jumbles.

CAT 2023 Pattern

The CAT 2023 exam pattern will be same as last year. If the number of questions change, then that will be known at the time of official CAT mock test release.
