CAT 2023 notification - CAT is India’s top national level MBA entrance exam for admission to the IIMs and over 1200 B-Schools in India. The exam is conducted on the last Sunday of November every year. The CAT 2023 exam will be held on November 26. The official announcement will be done by IIM Lucknow today via the CAT 2023 notification.

The CAT  notification 2023 will contain all the details related to the entrance test such as registration dates, fees, syllabus, pattern, exam timings, courses offered, eligibility criteria, reservation policy, etc.

CAT is held on a single day in three sessions and every year over 2 lakh candidates register for the same. The exam is conducted at over 400 test centres across India. The CAT 2023 registration process will be online wherein eligible candidates will have to create an account at iimcat.ac.in website to fill the CAT application form. The fee for CAT 2023 will have to be paid at the time of form submission.

CAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The CAT 2023 eligibility criteria is expected to be the same as last year. That is,

• Graduation or equivalent degree from a recognized university
• Minimum score requirement for General/NC-OBC is 50 percent and for SC/ST/PwD it is 45 percent in aggregate.
• Final year graduation students can also appear for CAT of their score of first two years meet the minimum score criteria

The exam authorities have been increasing the CAT fee by INR 100 every year since 2019. This year too, the fee amount can be increased. Check below the latest CAT fees:

CAT 2023 Registration Link and Other Details

• The CAT 2023 registration cum application form will be avalable at the https://iimcat.ac.in/
• Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria, can fill the CAT application form 2023. 
• CAT syllabs 2023 include Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data IInterpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) and Quantitative Aptitude (QA). 
• In the CAT exam, there will be 66 questions in MCQ format, to be solved in 2 hours.
• VARC will have 24 questions, DILR will have 20 questions and QA will have 22 questions.
• Each section of CAT 2023 question paper will have sectional time limit of 40 minutes.
