Given below are the qualifying CAT cut offs for IIM Indore MBA admission 2024, for PI shortlisting:

Personal Interview or PI shortlisting will start in the first week of January 2024. The IIMs will release the PI shortlisting forms at their respective websites, which the candidates will have to fill if they meet the CAT 2023 cut off.

CAT 2023 result announcement date has not been shared by IIM Lucknow. Even though the official CAT 2023 notification says that the result will be announced in the second week of January 2024. Candidates can expect it to be released much earlier. Last year, the CAT result was announced on December 21, 2023.

Candidates cannot challenge the final answer keys of CAT 2023. The answers printed on the CAT 2023 final answer key will be final and the result will be prepared on the basis of those answers only.

CAT 2023 final answer key may be released in the third week of December 2023. It will be released only if any of the objections received from candidates are found to be valid. If any objection is found to be valid, the preliminary answer key that has been released today will be revised and released as final answer key.

CAT 2023 answer key download process will be available for download until December 8, 2023. After that the CAT response sheet and answer key 2023 will not be available for download.

CAT score is referred to as the marks that the candidate gets after totaling his/her correct and incorrect attempts. The CAT percentile indicates the candidate’s performance in comparison to rest of the test takers. For example, if a candidate gets 99 percentile, it means his score is higher than 99 % of all test takers.

The following formula can be applied to calculate CAT 2023 percentile:

• P = (R/N) × 100
• where,
• P= Percentile score
• R= Rank of the candidate assigned on the basis of scaled CAT score or total number of candidates who rank below a particular candidate.
• N= Number of candidates who appeared in CAT exam (all three sessions)

Suppose, 1,0000 people take CAT and a candidate bags the top rank, which means 9999 candidates scored less than him/her. The CAT percentile will be 9999/10000*100= 99.9.

The CAT answer key and response sheet 2023 will be available for download till the time objection window is open, i.e. December 8, 5:00 pm. After that, candidates will not be able to access their CAT response sheet.

After downloading the CAT 2023 answer key and response sheet candidates can calculate their exam score by counting the number of correct and incorrect options.

• For every correct attempt, 3 marks are rewarded
• For every incorrect attempt, -1 mark will be awarded
• For TITA and unanswered questions, there is no negative marking

Candidates can challenge the official CAT 2023 answer key from December 5 to December 8, 2023. The link to raise objection has been activated. 

IIM Lucknow has released the CAT 2023 response sheet and answer key today. Candidates can check their reponse sheets now. 

There is no fee to download the CAT response sheet 2023 and official answer key. Candidate have to pay only if they wish to challenge the official answer key.

The official CAT answer key and candidate response sheet download link will be hosted by IIMCAT only. Candidates will find their authentic CAT 2023 answer keys at iimcat.ac.in only.

The login window on IIMCAT website is disables, which means the authorities are preparing for CAT 2023 response sheet and answer key login and download.

• Enter CAT ID and password
• Go to response sheet tab
• Download it as PDF

After the CAT response sheet has been released, candidates must calculate their score and percentile using Shiksha’s CAT percentile tool to check the cut offs for top MBA colleges.

The CAT 2023 response sheet and answer key will be available for download from today. Test takers who were eagerly awaiting the official answer key can heave a sigh of relief.

CAT 2023 had a total of 66 questions and 198 marks. Check section wise breakup:

VARC – 24 questions, 72 marks

DILR – 20 questions, 60 marks

QA – 22 questions, 66 marks

With the CAT 2023 response sheet, candidates will be able to know the total number of correct and incorrect attempt. They can multiply every correct attempt with 3 and deduct -1 marks for every wrong attempt. The total marks obtained will be the sum of correct and incorrect attempts.

The CAT 2023 objection window is used for challenging the official answer keys given by the CAT examination authorities. If a candidate feels that answer given to a question is wrong, they can challenge it.

To download the CAT 2023 response sheet, candidates need to enter their CAT ID and password in the login window.
