The shift 2 of CMAT 2023 exam was easy. Sectional difficulty levels are as follows:

• Quantitative Aptitude: Moderate
• Logical Reasoning: Easy
• Language Comprehension: Easy
• Innovation and Entrepreneurship: Easy
• General Awareness: Moderate

Students who appeared in the CMAT exam also found the exam easy. Most of the students thought Quantitative Technique was tough but Logical Reasonning and English sections were easy. 

The percentiles would be calculated for each candidate by the formula given below:

Second shift of the CMAT 2023 exam is now over. As per the initial reactions, the question paper was same as shfit 1 and the difficulty level was also same as shift 1- moderate. Stay tuned for detailed analysis.

CMAT 2023 exam analysis for shift 2 will be shared here after the exam. The section wise analysis and expected cut offs will be shared here for candidates to analyse their performance.

The second shift of the CMAT 2023 exam is underway. The question paper of the second shift is the same as that of first shift.

In the General Awareness section of CMAT 2023, there were 16 static GK questions. The remaining four 4 questions were on Current Affairs. The majority of questions were based on Indian events. The CMAT 2023 question paper of shift 1 had questions from Sports, constitution, history, books and authors, physics, geography, etc.

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship section of CMAT 2023 had questions from Nascent Entrepreneur; Phases of funding; Reasons for failure etc. According to the CMAT 2023 analysis, the difficulty level was moderate.

According to the CMAT 2023 analysis, Logical Reasoning section was also easy in the first shift. There were 5 Reading Comprehension questions and 16 verbal ability questions.

According to the CMAT 2023 analysis, questions of this section were straight forward and easy to solve. This section had 12 non-verbal reasoning questions and 8 verbal reasoning questions.

According to the CMAT 2023 analysis, this section was relatively easy. It was dominated by Arithmetic which included questions on Time-speed-distance, Ratio-Proportion, Profit & Loss, SICI, Average, Partnership.

The marking scheme of CMAT 2023 shift 1 and shift 2 is same. Four marks will be awarded for each correct entries and one mark will be deducted for each incorrect entry. No marks will be deducted for unanswered questions.

Second shift of the CMAT 2023 exam will begin from 2:30 PM. The candidates have entered the exam centres and the entry gates have been closed. The exam will go on till 5:30 pm without break.

CMAT difficulty level of shift 1: Quantitative Aptitude section was moderate, Logical Reasoning was tough, English and Innovation and Entrepreneurship sections were easy. GK section was also moderate to tough.

CMAT is similar to other MBA entrance exams in terms of syllabus, structure and format but it has a unique section – Innovation and Entrepreneurship. This section has 20 question from topics related to business and start-ups.

CMAT 2023 analysis will be shared here soon for the first shift. According to the initial reactions ot test takers the CMAT difficulty level this year was moderate to high. 

There is no sectional time limit in CMAT. Candidates can spend time on a particular section as per their need. However, it is prudent to not use too much time on one section so that they fall short of time towards the end. Candidates should divide 180 minutes between 5 sections in such a way that no section gets neglected.

The first shift of CMAT 2023 exam is over. Candidates will start coming out of the exam centre soon. We will share early reactions of the test takers here soon.  The next shift  of CMAT 2023 will start from 2:30 pm.

The CMAT 2023 exam is expected to be of moderate difficulty level. Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning sections could be moderate. Language Comprehension and Innovation & Entrepreneurship sections could be easy and GK section could be tough.

In CMAT exam, questions are equally distributed among all the five sections. Every section of the CMAT question paper 2023 has 20 questions. Because of this exam structure, it is important to score equally well in all the five sections.

The delay in conduct of CMAT is unlikely to affect admission cycle as admission are still open in many CMAT accepting colleges. Also, since MAH CET MBA/MMS CAP for 2023 admissions is still to take place, CMAT 2023 test takers can participate in it, despite the exam being held in May.

CMAT 2023 shift 1 is currently underway. The exam started at 9 am at various exam centres across India. The exam is being held in about 124 cities in computer based test mode. About 70,000 candidates are expected to appear in CMAT today.
