Great Lakes Gurgaon appoints Dr Jones Mathew as Principal & Head of Institute

Great Lakes Institute of Management, Gurgaon has announced the appointment of Dr Jones Mathew as its new Principal and Head of Institute, succeeding Dr Debashis Sanyal. Dr Sanyal, who served as Director from 2018 to 2024, will transition into an advisory role, continuing to provide mentorship to the institute.

Dr Jones Mathew brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having previously served as the Program Director of Great Lakes Gurgaon’s flagship one-year program and as Chairperson of Rankings and Accreditation. He played a pivotal role in securing accreditations from the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and the Association of MBAs (AMBA) UK for the institute. With a distinguished career spanning 33 years, primarily in marketing, Dr Jones holds a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) Delhi. He has held leadership positions in organizations such as the Hero Group, HCL Ltd, Yonex, and Reebok. Dr. Jones is also recognized internationally as an award-winning case writer published in Ivey and Harvard Publishing.
