IIM Ahmedabad Placement records 100 per cent placement in PGP FABM batch

According to the official data released by IIM-Ahmedabad, the premier management institute witnessed a 100 per cent placement in the summer placement season conducted for the PGP-FABM Class of 2022.

IIM- Ahmedabad Placements 2020: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad recently concluded its summer placements for the PGP-FABM (Post-Graduate Programme in Food and Agribusiness Management) Class of 2022. According to the official data released by IIM-Ahmedabad, the premier management institute witnessed a 100 per cent placement in the summer placement season conducted for the PGP-FABM Class of 2022. In the virtual placement season, 47 students bagged internship offers across different sectors. The reports also suggest that the internship will be conducted between May and June next year.

During the IIM Ahmedabad summer placement drive, a total of 37 recruiters participated. Companies offered jobs in the sectors such as commodities, food supply chain, food industry, agri consulting, e-commerce, agri inputs, retail among others. According to the official data, the highest number of students got internship offers in the agri-inputs sector with 10 offers followed by food processing and operation each offering nine internship opportunities to IIM-A students. Other sectors such as agri-processing offered eight internships and FMCG made six offers. According to IIMA, many new recruiters also showed interest in the batch, which saw the participation of industry giants such as Yes Bank, Mahindra & Mahindra, Amplus Solar, Bayer, Corteva, Olam, East-West Seeds, DCM Shriram, IFF, Emami, Roquette, FMC, Bayer, UPL, Modern Food, Everest Instruments, MSC, TCS, Nutreco and FieldFresh, among others.

According to the Eduniversal Best Masters Ranking, the postgraduate programme in food and agri-business management (PGP-FABM) offered by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad is ranked the best course in the world.
