IIM Ahmedabad to Begin Summer Internship Placements for 2024-25 PGP and PGP-FABM Programs on Nov 12

Hybrid mode to enhance accessibility; Reports to be released post-cluster for transparency

Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) has announced the commencement of its Summer Internship Recruitment Process for the 2024-25 academic year for its Post Graduate Programme (PGP) and Post Graduate Programme in Food and Agribusiness Management (PGP-FABM). The process will start on November 12, 2024, adopting a hybrid model to facilitate recruitment activities, allowing companies to either visit the campus or conduct their hiring processes online.

The placement process will follow a cluster-cohort system, where companies offering similar roles are grouped into cohorts, and multiple cohorts are invited in sequential clusters. The detailed schedule is as follows:

Cluster 1: November 12, 2024

Cluster 2: November 15, 2024

Cluster 3: November 18, 2024

If required, the institute will continue with a rolling process after Cluster 3. Both the PGP and PGP-FABM programs will adhere to this schedule.

Commitment to Transparency IIMA will maintain its policy of issuing press releases post each cluster, providing detailed information about the outcomes and highlights. Reports will be published on the official IIMA website around 10:00 PM on each cluster day for Clusters 1 and 2. A combined report for Cluster 3 and a consolidated report will be released together after the final cluster.

Since 2010, IIMA has adhered to the Indian Placement Reporting Standards (IPRS) to ensure greater transparency, and this year’s process will continue that tradition. The institute emphasized that all information will be shared officially through these press releases and discouraged reliance on unofficial sources to avoid misinformation. The placement committee is set to handle all coordination for a smooth recruitment process, and the institute has requested cooperation from all stakeholders.
