The agreements with Corvinus University of Budapest and Robert Gordon University (RGU), Scotland, signify a major step forward in IIM Indore’s international collaboration efforts, offering enriched opportunities for academic exchange, research, and joint programs.

The Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore) is thrilled to announce the signing of two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with international institutions, enhancing its global academic footprint. The agreements with Corvinus University of Budapest and Robert Gordon University (RGU), Scotland, signify a major step forward in IIM Indore’s international collaboration efforts, offering enriched opportunities for academic exchange, research, and joint programs.

New Partnerships for Academic Exchange

IIM Indore's Director, Professor Himanshu Rai, signed the MoU with Dr. Ákos Varga, Dean of Executive and Postgraduate Programmes at Corvinus University. Professor Rai expressed his enthusiasm for this collaboration, stating, “The partnership with Corvinus University will greatly benefit IIM Indore’s students and faculty. With Corvinus’s diverse student body of 10,000, including 2,000 international scholars, our students will gain valuable exposure to global educational practices.”

This collaboration will facilitate various exchange programs and joint research initiatives, enriching the academic experience and broadening the international perspectives of IIM Indore students. Professor Rai added that the partnership would also create opportunities for faculty to engage in impactful research and participate in high-profile academic events, further enhancing IIM Indore’s global reputation.

Strengthening Ties with Corvinus University

Dr. Varga emphasized the mutual benefits of the collaboration, saying, “Corvinus University is excited to partner with IIM Indore, a Triple Crown Accredited institution known for its academic excellence. This MoU will allow us to exchange academic staff and students, fostering a rich exchange of experiences through exhibitions, lectures, and workshops.”

The agreement also aims to encourage participation in various academic activities, including conferences and symposia, highlighting the importance of sharing research and educational data to enhance training purposes.

Collaboration with Robert Gordon University

IIM Indore has also formalized its partnership with Robert Gordon University. The MoU was signed by Professor Rai and Professor Steve Olivier, Principal and Vice Chancellor of RGU. Professor Rai noted, “The partnership with RGU will enable us to explore joint research initiatives, facilitate the exchange of academic staff and students, and develop dual degree programs.”

Q:   Am I going to get a BBA and MBA degree after IIM Indore's integrated programme?

Launched by IIM Indore in 2011, the five-year Integrated Program in Management (IPM) is the first of its kind in India. Theprogrammehas been accredited by the Association of MBAs, AMBA London (4th and 5th Year). 

This five-year managementprogrammeis a combination of both undergraduate (BBA) and postgraduate (MBA). 

All Iims and universities like Alliance University, NICMAR University, Pune, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, NALSAR, NIRMA and Indian Institute of Management Ranchi through IPMAT and JIPMAT scores. 

Many other universities are introducing integratedprogrammein management.  

Q:   What is IIM Indore integrated course?

A:
Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) was launched by IIM Indore in 2011. The programme is one of a kind in India. It is a five year Integrated Programme in Management accredited by the Association of MBAs, AMBA London. Aimed at students who have completed their Class 12 from a recognised board in India, the last two years of the programme are at the PG level. During that duration, IPM students are mixed with the students of the PGP programme and they go through the same set of courses as the PGP students. At the end of the five years, students are awarded a BA (Foundation in Management) and an MBA degree. IIM Indore has adopted a multi-stage selection process for admission to its Integrated Programme in Management. Eligible students are required to appear for IPM Aptitude Test (IPM AT). shortlisted candidates are called for a Personal Interview (PI) round for final selection.
