Indian Institute of Management (Indore) inaugurated the 21st Batch of the Post Graduate Programme for Working Executives (PGPMX) at the institute's Mumbai campus. The inauguration ceremony was led by IIM Indore’s Director, Professor Himanshu Rai, with Vijay Vikram Singh, renowned voice-over artist, actor, and communication trainer, serving as the special guest. Professor Mit Vachhrajani, Chair of PGPMX, also attended the event.

Director Professor Rai Highlights Achievements and Vision
In his address, Professor Rai expressed his enthusiasm for this year's batch, celebrating the programme's recent recognition in the QS EMBA Rankings 2024, where IIM Indore debuted in the top 25 business schools in Asia. He emphasized the programme's alignment with Industry 4.0 through a curriculum that blends cutting-edge content with real-world relevance. Professor Rai also underscored IIM Indore’s status as a Triple Crown Accredited Institution and detailed the institute's commitment to addressing critical societal issues, including inequality, urban challenges, rural concerns, environmental impact, and entrepreneurial spirit. He encouraged participants to embrace continuous learning and to embody leadership qualities such as compassion, effective communication, courage, and perseverance.
Vijay Vikram Singh shared insights from his diverse career, which spans voice-overs, acting, and his MBA background. He congratulated the new batch and advised them to adopt a growth mindset, focusing on self-improvement rather than competition with others. Singh emphasized the importance of empathy in leadership, advocating for strong communication skills and compelling presentation. He urged participants to stay adaptable and curious in a rapidly changing world, reinforcing that experience, rather than failure, is the true measure of success.

Q: Is there BBA in IIM Indore?
IIM Indore offers a five-year integrated programme in Management accredited by the Association of MBAs, AMBA London. This five-year Management programme is a combination of both UG (BBA) and PG (MBA) course. Aimed at students who have completed their Class 12 from a recognised board in India, the last two years of the programme are at the PG level. Candidates who have passed Class 12 or HSc or equivalent examination in 2021, 2022 or appearing in 2023 can apply for IIM Indore IPM course.
Q: Why is IIM Indore so famous?
Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore, also known as IIM-I is the sixth IIM established under the IIM legacy. IIM Indore has been ranked 8 under the Management category by the NIRF Ranking 2024. It is one of the prominent public B-schools in India with autonomous status. IIM Indore offers great placement opportunities. The highest and average package offered during IIM Indore placements 2023 stood at INR 1.14 crore per annum and INR 30.21 LPA, respectively. Launched by IIM Indore in 2011, the five-year Integrated Program in Management (IPM) is the first of its kind in India. Theprogrammehas been accredited by the Association of MBAs, AMBA London (4th and 5th Year).
This five-year managementprogrammeis a combination of both undergraduate (BBA) and postgraduate (MBA).
All Iims and universities like Alliance University, NICMAR University, Pune, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, NALSAR, NIRMA and Indian Institute of Management Ranchi through IPMAT and JIPMAT scores.

Q: What is credit system for BBA at IIM Indore?
IIM Indore BBA follows a credit system. The concept of credit is used to compute the workload of the course. As a general rule, four-credit course requires a committement of 100 hours from the participant of which 25 hours are to be spent in the classroom (usually 20 sessions of 75 minutes each) and the balance to be utilised for preparation and assignments. The courses carry one, two, three or four-credits.
