The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ranchi, has entered into a significant memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Army to offer executive MBA and executive PhD programmes tailored for officers of the Army’s Eastern Command. The Eastern Command, headquartered in Kolkata, holds operational jurisdiction across 10 states, encompassing the seven northeastern states and Sikkim.
Enhancing Leadership and Management Skills
The primary objective of this collaboration is to augment the leadership and management competencies of Indian Army officers through academic and research cooperation. The MoU was formally signed by Major General Paramvir Singh Dagar, General-Officer-Commanding of the 23 Infantry Division, and Professor Deepak Kumar Srivastava, Director of IIM Ranchi.
