Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) has launched MBA in Digital Maritime & Supply Chain today, i.e. June 28, 2024, during a ceremony attended by industry leaders, faculty, and students. Developed collaboratively by the Departments of Management Studies and Ocean Engineering at IIT Madras, in partnership with i-maritime Consultancy, this 24-month program targets professionals seeking advanced skills in navigating the digital transformation of global trade logistics.
Eligibility and Admission
Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree securing at least 60% marks and a minimum of two years of full-time work experience qualify to apply. The admission process includes an online IIT Madras Admission Test followed by personal interviews. Applications are currently open for the inaugural batch, scheduled to commence in September 2024.
Program Features and Curriculum
The MBA (Digital Maritime & Supply Chain) program is designed to equip participants with expertise in leveraging IoT, AI, ML, and Blockchain technologies to optimize operational efficiency and drive strategic advancements in maritime and supply chain management. The curriculum spans 900 hours of intensive learning, featuring six on-campus immersion modules complemented by online classes, ensuring flexibility for working professionals.
