IITs start MBA admission 2021: Last date to apply January 31

IIT MBA admission process 2021 begins. Last date to apply in January 31. Check eligibility, fees and application process. 

The seven IIT institutes which offer MBA programmes have begun the process of applications for admission based on CAT 2020 score. Candidates who appeared for CAT 2020 exam and have scored over 85-90 percentile can apply for admission to MBA programmes offered by IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Roorkee, IIT Madras, IIT Kanpur and IIT-ISM Dhanbad.

Interested candidates can apply online on the official websites of these institute using their CAT 2020 score and other details. Application fees for General / OBC / NRI category students is Rs 1600 and for SC/ST/PD category students, it is Rs 800.

The last date to apply is January 31. The second round of admission process, i.e. GD and personal interview will be conducted between February and April. Final selection list will be released in the last week of April and first week of May.

IIT MBA Eligibility Criteria

• General category candidates must have bachelor's degree with minimum 60 per cent aggregate (6.00 CGPA on a 10-point scale)
• SC/ST category candidates must have a bachelor’s degree with minimum 55 per cent aggregate (5.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale)

How to Apply for IIT MBA Admission

To apply for admission to IIT MBA programmes, the candidates will have to fill individual forms of these seven institutes on their respective websites. Check the basic form filling process below:

• Log on to the institute’s management/MBA website
• Click on MBA Admission 2021-23 tab
• Click on ‘Register’ button
• Enter basic details like name, date of birth, email, phone number, etc.
• After registering successfully, fill the application with academic details
• Upload photo, signature and CAT 2020 scorecard
• Pay application fee via debit/credit card or net banking
