This acknowledgement reaffirms IMI Kolkata's steadfast dedication to educational brilliance and its unwavering support for fostering advancement and progress within the academic sphere.
IMI Kolkata has chosen the Army Institute of Management Kolkata and Globsyn Business School Kolkata as its partnered MBIs. From the academic year 2024-25 onward, IMI Kolkata will embark on a three-year journey of collaborative endeavours to cultivate growth and uphold standards of excellence within these esteemed institutions.
The mentorship program encompasses a range of activities such as workshops focusing on NBA accreditation and NIRF ranking, initiatives for faculty research and development, programs for placement and entrepreneurship development, and the adoption of outcome-based learning systems, among various others.
Under the Margdarshan Scheme, AICTE has identified IMI Kolkata as an inspiration of quality education with NBA accreditation and NIRF ranking, entrusting it with the responsibility of guiding other institutions towards similar achievements. IMI Kolkata will serve as a guiding institute for nearby institutions, termed Mentor Beneficiary Institutions (MBIs), facilitating their journey towards NBA accreditation and improved NIRF ranking.
Speaking on the occasion, Professor (Dr.) Mohua Banerjee, Director, IMI Kolkata, expressed her enthusiasm, stating, "We are honored to be selected as a Mentor Institute under the Margdarshan Scheme. This recognition endorses our commitment to academic excellence and our dedication to fostering growth within the wider educational community. We look forward to guiding and supporting our fellow institutions on their journey towards accreditation and enhanced rankings."
This collaboration promises mutual benefits, with IMI Kolkata contributing to societal welfare by extending support to other academic institutions, and the Mentor Beneficiary Institutions receiving expert guidance in accreditation, ranking, and overall development without incurring any costs.
