Karnataka Examinations Authority has released Karnataka PGCET 2024 notification. PGCET 2024 applications are being invited from May 27 to June 18. The exam for MBA, MCA, MTech, MArch and other courses will be conducted on July 13 and 14.

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the commencement of applications for the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) 2024. The state-level entrance exam facilitates admissions to MBA, MCA, MTech, and MArch courses across Karnataka.

As per the official notification, the application window will open on May 27 and will remain available until June 17. Interested candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria, which mandates a minimum aggregate score of 50 per cent in the qualifying degree examination. However, candidates belonging to reserved categories are eligible with a 5 per cent relaxation, requiring a minimum aggregate of 45 per cent.

The Karnataka PGCET 2024 exam dates are scheduled for July 13 and 14. For ME, MTech, and MArch courses, the exam will be held on July 13 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. On the following day, July 14, the exam for MBA and MCA will take place in two shifts. The MCA exam is scheduled from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, while the MBA exam will be conducted from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

The question paper for each course - MBA, MCA, MTech, and MArch - will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Candidates will have 120 minutes to complete the examination. The revised syllabus for the Karnataka PGCET 2024 exam is available on the official website of KEA.
