KEA has started the Karnataka PGCET choice filling process on its official website, kea.kar.nic.in. Candidates can complete the choice filling until November 19. Fee payment window is being facilitated until November 20.

Karnataka PGCET 1st Round Choice Filling Link Out; Fee Payment Window Available until November 20

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the PGCET choice filling link for first allotment round. KEA PGCET choicefilling window is available until November 19. Candidates can make a choice among four options to accept or reject the allocated seat. Those who accept the allotment will have to pay the admission fee on or before November 20. Along with the choice filling window, KEA has released the counselling schedule for admissions through Karnataka PGCET 2024 first round allotment. All those who accept the seat will have to report at the allotted college on November 21, before 5 PM.

Candidates reporting at the allotted college will have to carry all documents as mentioned in the information bulletin.

Once the candidate pays the admission fee, he/she can download the admission order. Candidates must carry the admission order when reporting to the allotted college.

Karnataka PGCET 2024 Counselling: Available Choices

Candidates who have been allocated a seat through Karnataka PGCET 2024 allotment will have four different choices. Of these four choices, two are for the candidates who are satisfied with the allotment, while two choices are for the candidates who are not satisfied with the seat they are offered in the first round allotment. Four choices with the candidates are as follows:

Here are the four choices available to candidates after the Karnataka PGCET allotment:

  1. Choice 1 indicates the accept and freeze option. Candidates who are satisfied with their allotted seat and do not wish to participate in further rounds can choose this option.
  2. Chocie 2 indicates the accept and float option. Candidates who are satisfied with their current allotment but want to be considered for better options in subsequent rounds can select this option. Their current seat will be held until the final round.
  3. Choice 3 indicates the reject and slide option. Candidates who are not satisfied with their allotment and want to participate in the next round to secure a better seat can choose this option. The seat allotted in the first round will be forfeited and offered to the next best candidate.
  4. Choice 4 indicates the withdraw option. Candidates who do not wish to participate further in the PGCET counselling process, regardless of their current allotment, can select this option.

Yes, KEA has released the Karnataka PGCET exam schedule on its official website. Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) releases the Karnataka PGCET exam dates along with the event schedule. KEA conducted the Karnataka PGCET 2023 exam for admission to MBA/MCA, MTech, and March courses offered by colleges in Karnataka. The exam was conducted on September 23 for Engineering courses and on September 24 for MBA and MCA courses. Candidates could download the answer key soon after the exam was conducted.
