Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the revised dates of PGCET 2024 exam for MBA and MCA courses. KEA will release the PGCET exam dates for ME and MTech courses soon.
Karnataka PGCET Postponed Dates Released; Exam on August 4
Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has rescheduled the Karnataka PGCET 2024 exam for MBA and MCA courses. The MBA exam will now be held on August 4 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM, while the MCA exam will be conducted on the same day from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Candidates who have registered for the exam before July 7 will be able to download their hall tickets from July 27 onwards.
The exam, originally scheduled for July 13 and 14, was postponed due to clash with the semester exams conducted by several universities in Karnataka.
About Karnataka PGCET 2024
The PGCET exam will be a computer-based test comprising 100 multiple-choice questions to be completed in two hours. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers or unattempted questions. Karnataka PGCET MBA exam will have questions from five different sections, namely
- Computer Awareness
- Analytical Ability and Logical Reasoning
- Quantitative Analysis
- English Language
- General Awareness
Each section of the Karnataka PGCET exam has equal weightage with 20 multiple choice questions. KEA does not have any sectional time limit. Besides MBA course, Karnataka PGCET is conducted for MCA, ME, MTech, and MArch courses.
