Karnataka PGCET 2024 Option Entry Process Ends at 10 AM Today

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will close the option entry window for the Karnataka PGCET 2024 today, November 11, at 10 AM. Candidates who have not yet submitted their course and college preferences must proceed to access the PGCET option entry link before the deadline.

The option entry process was initially scheduled to conclude on November 8. However, numerous requests from candidates led to reopening of the PGCET option entry link from November 9 to 11.

KEA to Release PGCET Mock Allotment Results by 6 PM, Today

KEA will declare the Karnataka PGCET mock seat allotment results later today, after 6 PM. PGCET mock seat allotment results are based on the course and college preferences submitted by candidates during the option entry process.

Following the release of the mock allotment results, KEA will provide a window for candidates to edit their options. This will be the final opportunity for candidates to make any changes to their preferences before the first round seat allotment process.

The first round of seat allotment results will be declared by KEA based on the final options submitted by candidates and their ranks in the PGCET entrance exam.

Karnataka PGCET Revised Counselling Dates 2024

KEA had previously announced a different schedule for the mock allotment and option editing process. However, due to the extension of the option entry window, changes in the overall allotment schedule are likely to happen. KEA has not yet released the revised schedule for the first seat allotment result and subsequent processes.

Candidates are advised to keep an eye on the official KEA website for the latest updates and notifications regarding the Karnataka PGCET 2024 first round allotment process.

Karnataka Examinations Authority publishes the PGCET mock allotment status before commencement of the first seat allotment round. Candidates are not allotted seat based on the PGCET mock allotment results. However, the actual seat allotment round leads to allocation of seats in Karnataka PGCET participating colleges. Candidates get the facility to change their options after checking the mock allotment status. Mock allotment round is conducted familiarise candidates with the course and college allotted to them based on the ranks.
