KEA began the Karnataka PGCET option entry under the second counselling round on November 26. Today, November 29, is the last date to edit/modify options on the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea.
Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) started the second round of PGCET option entry on November 26. Candidates eligible for the second round of Karnataka PGCET counselling can access the option entry window until 10 AM today, November 29. Based on the option preference for college and courses, KEA will allot a seat to PGCET rank holders. Candidates who will get an allotment will have to pay the admission fee and download the admission order.
Critical Information for PGCET Choice 2 Candidates
Candidates who opted for Choice 2 in the previous allotment round and have seats on hold from the first round must use the option entry window to add or modify their college-course preferences. They may receive an allotment in the second round of PGCET counselling. If allotted a seat in the second round, they must forfeit their previous round allotment. Therefore, option entry in the second round counselling is crucial for these participants.
What after PGCET Option Entry?
KEA will release the provisional seat allotment results for the second round of Karnataka PGCET counselling after 6 PM, today. The Karnataka PGCET second round final allotment results will be declared on November 30, 2024.
Candidates who had their seats on hold from the first round and have entered new preferences in the second round may get an allotment. If allotted a seat in the second round, they will have to forfeit their first-round seat.
Candidates allotted seats in the second round must pay the admission fee from November 2 to 4. Once the fee is paid, they can download the admission order and report to their allotted college with the necessary documents.
Those who had paid the fee in the first round will have it adjusted if they get a seat in the second round.
