A day after the release of Karnataka PGCET results, KEA has released the final answer key for all courses, including MBA, MCA, and MTech. Candidates can access the Karnataka PGCET final answer key PDF from the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

KEA has allotted ranks to all the candidates eligible for the counselling process. However, KEA does not release the Karnataka PGCET rank listseparately. Candidates can check their ranks when they login to check the result. Based on these ranks, candidates are allowed to participate in the counselling process.

KEA will release the Karnataka PGCET cutoff ranks along with the allotment result. Different colleges will prepare the cutoff ranks for different categories to shortlist candidates for MBA admission

KEA has released the Karnataka PGCET 2022 results online. Candidates can check the result by entering the PGCET number.

KEA is yet to release the Karnataka PGCET 2022 results. Shiksha tried contacting KEA office for update on the Karnataka PGCET result declaration time; however, we did not get any response. The page will host the live updates on Karnataka PGCET results. Candidates will be notified as soon as the result releases.

Candidates can apply for the following exams if they are unable to score well in Karnataka PGCET 2022:

• CMAT 2023
• XGMT 2023
• NMAT 2022 (additional window from January 5)
• MICAT 2023

No. Candidates can only download the Karnataka PGCET 2022 scorecard from the official website, i.e. centonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. KEA does not provide the facility to get the PGCET scorecard offline.

KEA released the document verification schedule along with the PGCET Result declaration date. With the postponement of the Karnataka PGCET 2022 results, KEA will have to change the document verification schedule. Therefore, KEA is unlikely to postpone the PGCET results.

KEA will release the PGCET results on cetonline.karnataka.gov.in anytime soon. Candidates were informed that the PGCET 2022 results will be out after 4 PM. 

KEA is set to fill seats in more than 200 colleges across Karnataka. Candidates can apply for admission based on Karnataka PGCET ranks. KEA will conduct a centralised counselling process to fill seats in all the participating colleges.

The Karnataka Assembly has unanimously passed a Bill to enhance the reservation for SC/STs in government educational institutions. The passed Bill will lead to increase of SC seat reservation from 15 per cent to 17 percent. Whereas ST categories will now hold a reservation of seven per cent. Earlier, three per cent seats were reserved for ST categories.

KEA does not entertain any request for revaluation or retotalling of the answer sheets. The performance is evaluated with error-free software recognising the shaded box in the OMR sheet. 

KEA has not specified any qualifying rank for admission based on Karnataka PGCET 2022. Therefore, all candidates receiving a rank in the Karnataka PGCET 2022 scorecard will be allowed to participate in the document verification process from January 3. However, the final admission will be based on the PGCET cutoff ranks and allotment results.

Karnataka PGCET score is valid for one year only. Karnataka PGCET 2022 score will be used for admission into 2023-25 batch of MBA programme. Candidates aspiring for admission into 2024-26 batch must appear for the next examination session.

Karnataka PGCET 2022 scorecard is to be downloaded for further counselling process. KEA conducts a centralised counselling for MBA admission based on Karnataka PGCET scores. Candidates passing the exam need to participate in the document verification process followed by the online counselling.

KEA updated the result declaration date for Karnataka PGCET 2022 on December 24. Along with the result declaration date, KEA also notified the document verification dates. Therefore, no delay is expected in the release of Karnataka PGCET scorecard.

KEA allots the merit position to each test taker based on his/her performance in the exam. In cases where two or more candidates have an equal score, KEA decides the inter-se merit based on the following criteria:

• Candidate with better aggregate score in the bachelor’s degree exam will be prioritised.
• In case both candidates have identical scores in bachelor's degree, the merit rank will be determined based on the date of birth. Older candidates will be prioritised for Karnataka PGCET rank allotment.
• If both the candidates share date of birth, KEA will decide the merit rank based on draw of lots.

As per the Karnataka PGCET important dates 2022, KEA will be releasing the final answer key of the exam along with the results. The preliminary answer key for Karnataka PGCET 2022 was released on November 30. Candidates were allowed to raise objections against the provisional answer key until December 10. Based on the verified objections, KEA has drafted the PGCET final answer key.
